Smooth Jazz for Scholars 2019 dates/lineup January 18, 2019

Keyboardist Jay Rowe has announced the dates and lineup for the 17th Smooth Jazz for Scholars benefit concert series, which will be the 13th year I’ve attended. The announcement came this morning on Facebook:

This will be saxophonist Jessy J’s second year in a row at SJFS. Fellow saxophonist Eric Darius, keyboardist Brian Simpson, and guitarist Steve Oliver are also appearing for the second time. Sax man Marion Meadows, and guitarists Nick Colionne and Chieli Minucci have been mainstays in recent years, though only Marion was on hand last year.
